Title: help

Eeek! My male giant messed his sister up and this time she has half of her lips missing. I have her in a 10 gal with aquarium salt, heat, and some Pimafix. Is there anything else I should add? I am hoping that she pulls through. It is now very hard for her to eat :( Not saying she don't have an appetite; but when she goes to eat, cause of the way her mouth is, it is rather difficult for her. Any info would be appreciated.

Antibiotics is going to be a must. It escapes me right now, but go to Bettysplendens and find out what kind they use for mouth rot. That is what you are going to want to use a preventative to keep her from getting mouth rot.
and feed her soft foods. Frozen bloodworms for example.
You might have to hold them in the water for her, with tweezers, if she can't pick them off the bottom.
Immaculate water conditions is another must.

Thanks Belle! The anitibiotic is Maracyn Plus. I will have to run out and go get some of that and pray for the best.
