I'm so excited! Ani gave me 2 pairs of her Betta Mahachais at the FCB show.
I was a little nervous taking them (I've never had wilds before).
I asked some questions and did alot of reading.......... and BAM!
Yesterday I checked in on them and the larger male had eggs!
Checked in on them today and he now has fry!
I hope they have enough room, I gave them the 55gallon.
Wish me luck maybe I can get some pictures, the male is very elusive!

I am soooo happy for you! Yeah! More mahachais!

I think I might seperate out a pair of the mahachais I have left and go for the next generation this weekend. Got to have more if we are going to repopulate the world!

P.S. The guy with the macrostoma was out when I emailed him after FCB. But...I spoke with Mark from anubiasdesign and he's going to see if he can't get me macrostoma and channoides with his next shipment. Cross your fingers!
