hiya everyone!
I am curious what the outcome would be if i were to breed my super red half moon fem with my gold dragon halfmoon I'm curious about the coloration if it will be red gold dragons also being that the father is a gold dragon would the off spring receive the dragon trait from the father or is more along the lines of both parents having to be dragon to get the dragon scaling

Well, there are different factors to consider.
First, gold is yellow and metallic. So, even though your gold looks gold, genetically they are red fish.
Second, your reds have both black scaling and irrids. Your golds have dragon opaque, but they are clean bodied from what I have seen.
So you are through reds together, and mixing black based and cambo, (the yellows would be genetically cambo), irrids with opaque.. and some metallic in there for good measure.
The answer is who knows WHAT you will get.
You will get reds. I can safely say that.

You MAY ultimately end up with a fish like Diamond, or Diamond Boy, and the likelihood is high, but there is no what to say for certain what you are going to get.
