I have fish from a blue/turquoise marble pair that I bought from you off of Aquabid. Let me know if you are interested in some of their kids so you can have something to work with. My photobucket isn't working right now, so I can't give you pictures of the parents, but I will keep trying.

It was absolutely wonderful for my wife and I to meet You at the FCB show!!! It was also great to see your Bettas place in the show as well!!!
We'll definitely be watching for anything that you're breeding, and hope to obtain some of your lines for us to breed from!

Wow! I've been slowing going through some of the threads and am still on reading mode mostly, and I just found everyone's welcome.
And boy do I feel welcome. You guys are just so sweet! And it's nice to see some familiar people here along with all the new people I'm excited to meet!
I'm happy to say the repopulation of bettas in my fish room is coming along. One pair of red CTs from a cross Jack S. breed between a red king CT and one of my red CT females lived through the chlorine and spawned. It's a terribly small spawn, I've only seen 4 babies that are no free swimming, but maybe there are more. I sure hope so.
I've also got a healthy sized new spawn (tails in the nest) from my BOS royal blue hm female from FCB and my BOS turquoise hm male from Oregon. Hoping for some fish as nice as their parents!
And I've got a new good sized spawn (tails in nest) from Eryn's fish, a royal blue metallic BF male and his royal blue metallic marble sister. Should get a ton of different fish from that spawn, both parents carry doubletail, so I expect solids, marbles, bfs, doubletails and singletails, along with copper, royal blue metallic, and turquoise metallics.
I expect to be overrun with bettas soon!
I'm working feverishly...well, working anyways on my website. Hope to get it up this century!

I felt so bad when I heard what happened to your fish. That's such a devistating blow. Glad to hear your program is still on track and in full force! So welcome to the board.. and if you need anything (Pepsi, Sparkling water perhaps?) don't hesitate to ask!

I'm hoping their babies will be lovely. The spawn is smaller than I thought. Maybe about 20ish babies. Tough to say since they keep hiding from me!!!
They do share some genetics. The father of the BOSF is a sibling of the parents of the BOSM. And actually Josh, the pair of plakats you got from me were siblings of the parents too. I just pursued a longfin line instead of the plakat line! Sooooo...the babies you have from your pair are cousins to my BOSF and BOSM.

Ooo, that makes me feel special. And also makes me want to do another spawn... but as of now, my parents have put an embargo on all fish stuff and breeding until I get some more fish out from the spawn I have grown.

It's awesome to see you here! I didn't get nearly as much done this weekend as I had planned. The changng weather here in New Orleans threw a wrench into my betta tile production so I had to rework my system, which made me put off setting up the next round of spawn tanks.
So I'll just have to do more work tonight to catch up! But I got a lot of work done on my website last week, so hopefully soon I'll be handing over the site to my programmer aka boyfriend. I just can't wait until it's up!
