I have been looking to buy a male HM for a while now and I am thinking of either buying one from a breeder on here or special ordering one through a local pet store of mine in town.
I don't have a lot of money right now just cuz I am still in school and seems to always have limited funds so if I can I would like to get something that is not to expensive (or I guess you could say something fairly simple and that would probably not be shown or breed.) I am just looking for another pretty to put in the house and take care of. And I was just wondering if I could get some basic info as to the subject before I lept in and actually bought a fishie. Hopefully you all can help me out some rest assured it will be appreciated very much.

I would be more than happy to sell you one from DownSouthBettas and my up comming spawn of HMs. But you will have to wait atleast 3 months before they will be ready.
as for care tips live plants or silk plants only(plastic plants are like razor blades to HM fins) and smooth pebbles or no substrate. Make sure any hides you have dont have ANY sharp or jagged edges. Other than that i dont have any HM specific care tips.

You might want to get in touch with that guy sebastien247209@hotmail.com. I got his email address from another forum about fish for adoption. One of my friend got 4 half moon from him and they only have few damage on their tails. My friend told me the fish are very pretty and still very healthy. you just need to pay for shippnig and handling fee.
