Don't I wish it.
I am actully not even sure which is dominant. All I can say is the wild form has one or two branching, like the veil tail, and the traditional plakat.
They say you breed a traditional plakat with a HM, and you get VTs... and they say VTs are so dominate, that no matter what you breed them to you get VTs.. which would seem to indicate that less branching IS more dominate.
However I have bred a 2 ray VT to a 4 ray HM and gotten SDs with 4 rays branching.. So I really DON'T know..
If I run in to Gene Lucas at convention, I'll be certain to ask him, lol.

Yeah that is definately something to bring up in front of Gene Lucas or Leo Buss. But like Bella said, it's pretty much a crap shoot. I guess that's why when you find the multi ray females, they seem to command a very high price.

Maybe you could persuade Gene Lucas or Leo Buss to write something about it, LOL
