Title: Puffers!

My puffers are camera shy so I been trying to get just 1 good photo. Soon as they see me they look for food, if theres no food they go back to doing their weird dancing thing. Well I got one of them by surprise...

OH I SEE YOU

i have been wanting one of those for the longest. How big a tank you got to have for those? I heard they are hard to keep. Are they?

They are:
Colomesus asellus: South American Puffer

They are easy to keep and have been very peaceful little puffers, they only get about 3". They recomend 20g of water per puffer to keep them, I have 2 in the 55g tank.

One has even learned to eat flakes, they prefer live and frozen worms and bugs, brine shrimp too.

Thanks for the info . I heard they like baby snails too to keep their beak sharp

Yes I breed ramshorns for them to eat. They leave the adults alone and the little babies get munched up, I rarely have too many snails.
