Title: A Moment of Silence

LaBella - September 11, 2007 04:59 AM (GMT)
Today, as you go through your duties, please take the time to stop, and think about those who were killed on this day in 2001.
Also, take that moment to reflect on the loss since, and say a word of prayer for our men and women in uniform, lost to us overseas.

Whether you agree or disagree with them being there, they are there, and they are there for us. sop please, stop and reflect if you would, for just a few moments on how fragile, and precious life is.

Thank you

I went through my 9-11 archive and IIRC this was a picture taken by one of my friends. I felt it was apprpriate to put Bella's beautiful words with a beautiful tribute to remember all the beautiful lives that have been lost on this day six years ago and the days since.

Just amazing lighting.

Wow, thank you, seeing that has made me teary eyed. Sometimes there are not enough words, even for someone as loquacious as I am.
So I will just say thank you.

I was just getting ready to say thank you to whomever put that beautiful tribute up for the 9-11 victims. I watched some footage of 9-11 last night and it had me sobbing. It really affected me then and now. So thanks again for whomever did that beautiful work and put that tribute up there .One of my old bosses sent me a really neat pic of a truck that the trucker has painted as a dedication to 9-11 on it. It has all the vicitims names on it and some murals to the firefighters and police officers . He says the state troopers keep pulling him over to get their pictures taken with him and the truck.
here it is

Have you heard about the trucker who has painted his cab and trailer with the names of all those who lost their lives in 9/11? The trucker's name is John Holmgren from Shafer , Minn. He has been "pulled over" numerous times just so the troopers can get their picture taken with the truck.

Awesome truck. What a great dedication! I live on the opposite side of Minnesota and have never seen the truck. I generally don't pay a whole lot of attention to semis, but I'll watch for it now. I'm glad people are taking the time to remember. Life is precious and none of us know when our or our loved ones and neighbor's number will be up.

Wow! That was so touching. My heart just got this intense wrench in it.
*sigh*
Everything makes me cry lately.
