These guys just came in Thursday, I can't wait to get them in the spawning tank!

What color are these guys? A sort of platinum marble? I adopted them from someone so..... she wasn't sure about the color either...

I've heard them called blue cloud. But they are from crossing opaque and blue, possibly even some metallic in there.

Hmmm Blue Cloud? Thanks WML I didn't know that! There is no red wash on them (yet). I thought about outcrossing them but I think I will try them together and see what I get.

If entering them into a show, they would be considered grizzles. Grizzles are light bodied iridescent with darker iridescent spotting or flecking on them to ideally give you a 50/50 pattern of random light to dark ratio. Especially if they don't have any black or red on them, they would defiantly be considered grizzles.

The fish I adopted from you are doing fantastic. I have finally given them names. The red VT is Yoshi, the SD guy is Haruki, and the little pk is Tiny Tim! Yoshi will be moving to his new home at my work soon. Everyone there is just going to LOVE him. :wub:
But, yes, definitely keep me in mind for babies if/when you get any. :)

They look more a marble to me.
I do think it is an opaque/blue marble thing.
And I want in on the list for babies, because they would cross well into my frosteds.
