Title: Phrixus
Description: Black with blue lace HMPK male

My black with blue lace HMPK from an aquabid seller. I think this is the most perfect fish I’ve ever owned. Look at his cute little ventrals! I’m going to buy him a 5 gallon tank for him to live him all by himself. I LOVE THIS FISH SO MUCH!

His name is Phrixus in case you didn’t realize. He came with a sister just as lovely I named Nova, but I only have one shot of her looking really ugly just after I got them.

Put his pictures on the tabletop and let Dr Robert observed him in detail. ;) For me, he is great line to breed with. ^_^

He looks lik he's a symetrical PK, or at least trying to be one.
The shortened anal and ventrals make me think that is what he is, at any rate.

Ah, but he has the ray branching for a HMPK.

He is heading more to a modern type of plakat. The claudal both edges still had the traditional plakatt tail. Still round. I really like to see what Robert going to suggest about that. If you got him from banleangbettas, he should be the sibling of mine too. :lolo:

Yeevia, me too, I put him up there. I did not get him from that seller though, I bought him from a US breeder/seller.

Synnir, aren't they though?! I really hope his widdle babies have those ventrals too.

He may have the ray branching of a show rather than a sym, but the over all form make me think sym.
He could really go either way, and make nice kids, for both types depending on what he was bred to.
Of course for a sym the egdes need to be sharper, and more rays is a plus. Over all he is anice fish no matter what way.
