I wish there was a petco near me. All I have in the area are crummy petsmarts and a nice LFS.

Palor.... petsmart matches prices. So if a 20 L is 20 dollars, they have to honor it.

Well, we ended up NOT going today.... <_< But I was promised tomorrow... I wonder if my parents will let me get a 55 gallon that I can set up when I am finished selling my bettas.... :rolleyes:

Well last night I got the OK to upgrade to a bigger tank. I saved my money all summer so that when Petco had this sale I could get a 29 gal. Anyways, my mom took me to Petco and said that if I wanted to I could get a 40 gal and she would pay the extra. :WOU
We got the glass top, two light strips, gravel, heater, filters, background, stand... everything we needed. My mom called my dad because she needed some measurements and he just happened to be in a very bad mood. He told us that he wanted to put a desk in my room instead of a bigger tank. My mom asked me if I needed another desk (I already have one). I told her that my desk was plenty big and I would get more enjoyment out of a bigger fish tank. :rolleyes:
Needless to say, my mom was unable to get my dad to change his mind. So we put everything back and left. :( It's pretty disappointing when you spend two hours and you're ready to check out and then you end up having to put it all back and go home. :(
So instead I bought another light strip for my 20 gal. Now I have 1.5 WPG instead of .75 WPG. ^_^

YAY for more lighting, but SORRY for not being able to upgrade. I wish my parents were as receptive as your mom.
Once again, sorry you weren't able to get the tank, but you have to keep the parents happy.
