Do not buy fish when the seller posts two pictures supposedly of the same fish... but they are actually different fish.

Now, these are both very nice fish..
However, it is clear to me, that they are not the same fish. Yes, they are looking in different directions, and a fish may have black scaling on one side and not the other, however.. It is not likely that the fish would change hues from one side to the other.
Granted, that may be from slightly different lighting, but I have found to me glaring proof that these are not the same fish.
L fish, thin body, R fish, thicker body.
L fish, short ray dorsal base, but straight all the way through. R fish, straight dorsal at base, but shortened at the top.
L fish, full vents, R fish, VERY broad and full vents
L fish, trapezoidal anal fin, R fish, the rear of the anal fin wants to come forward
L fish, some combing on the anal fin, R fish, MORE combing on the anal fin
L fish, clean 6-8 ray branching, L fish, tail fold in the branching right below the middle line, and MINIMUM 8 ray branching.
Again, these are both very nice fish, and I think this may well be an honest mistake, and they are probably spawnmates, but they have different things going on with their finnage, and which fish would you end up with?
Oh, and neither of these fish are over half moons.
So I have to put this in my Not To Buy File.
