I have finally found my cheap bins for bettas lol I actually forgot all about it lol I i have the smaller guys the 3 ga they have sizes from 1,3,6, 12,17,and 34 gallon I definitely think i am going to stock up on these :OO as they are cheap and they are clear too what i like about these is that they sell lock clips for the 12 and 17 ga as these would be my ideal sizes as I would be using these sizes for breeding some ppl use rubber maid bins but i think i am going to start using the ikea ones as i have found they are a bit cheaper in price and it actually comes in handy esp for indys that are low on fundage anyway here is the link for ikea and i just thought i would share this neat idea

How durable are they against the weight of the water? The big ones would be great for spawning indeed! Or even large growouts!

I love Ikea. We finally got some of the stores down here. This is the trouble with coming back to the south after being a west coaster and a Northwesterner, we're sooo behind!
Good deal Jill. :D

Sherry I use Everything Ikea lol It is a great place for shopping my Sister-In-Law Is a Designer for them In their Singapore Store. I so wish I could get Discount lol She has offered to order stuff for us in Asia & then have it shipped here. myself and my husband said are you crazy it is expensive to ship from Asia to United States.Nate I would think they would be able to hold water I am going to test them out and see but even if they dont they are still great to use to put what ever fish supply you have in there for storage

They are made by sterlite and pretty clear. They hold about 4 gallons of water.
they cost $5 at Wall*mart. I even modified one with an old lid from a broken 2.5 gallon minibow

The sterilites are awesome! I use them in the 1 gallon size to house all my breeding fish. They love the room to swim and I don't have to do water changes every night. Even more important is they are stackable!
