Ok, since everyone is posting pics of new fishies here, I'll show you guys the yellows I'm getting in sometime next week.

Here's the problem I was having. I had a gorgeous bright clean yellow female and bred her to a duller yellow male with fantastic finnage and a couple black scales. I let the spawn grow up, which was of course, 95% female. Of the males that were left, there were X-factors, clean weakling males, and big, strong males with a ton of black scales on them! Oh, and cambos, but we won't even touch that topic right now. Most of the females turned out gorgeous, with a couple exceptions, but I didn't want to do an F2 with the males I was left to pick from. I did try 2 spawns out of the cleaner males, but both munched the eggs down.

So, I was freaking out LOL! I needed boys for my girls I kept. I thought I was going to get a couple from an American breeder, but that fell through...or something...I'm still confused what exactly happened there. Not mentioning any names, but I think there was some mind-changing going on there.

So, I decided that it's been long enough and bit the bullet and got these two boys from Sarawut. They don't have tons of branching, but my girls have that part covered. I was looking for color, and I think these two look pretty darn clean.





And this is it, because I am so done buying for a while!

Great looking fish! Can't wait till you get some kids from him. I can deifnately see what you're talking about with the ray count but the female should fix all that nicely. Good luck!

I have always said I believe Sawarut has the best fish in the world, bar none. You can't go wrong with a Sawarut. Good luck with those guys, I know I for one can't wait to see the babies.

And I have a question! Is the video of Belle during the meeting that she slept through? If it is, I sooooo have to see it!!! I had not met her yet at that point, and I had the pleasure of sitting next to her during that meeting. I was trying so hard not to laugh, since at that point I had no idea who she was! People were making it hard on me though. Jamie was behind me and kept laughing, which made me laugh more, and Dan was giving me the signal to elbow her to wake her up. I was holding in so much laughter, I swear I almost wet the chair! Sorry Belle! You made my first convention meeting very fun LOL!!! (Of course, I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but that's not the point.)
