I recently purchased a "HM" sibling pair. What a total rip off. I saved the image from the website of the betta I was suppose to receive, I sent an email stating if it was a different betta to send me a picture, so I could approve the purchase. I received confirmatin of the purchase and a tracking number. I supposed I would receive the same betta as pictured. Well I did not, instead I received a betta of different color, a lathargic fish, and on top of that it was a delta. Upon calling him he has rude, and said it was the same fish, after I told him I kept the picture from the site and it was obvious it was not the same fish. He said fine return it it you want. Of course I paid 70.00 and to return the fish would be 30+ and he would refund me the price of the fish(if they survived) so I would loose exactly what I spent. I have received two emails from him, one with flashing M&M's with "bye" on there chests, an dthe second stating they were on sale and are "as Is". Has anyone else had these problems with this guy? If so maybe would should write a little more about him so he does not take advantage of other looking to get into this hobby. I love collecting, and having bettas as pets, but this experience leaves a sour taste in my mouth.[SIZE=7][COLOR=blue]

I am sorry you got such a bad deal.
Some research would have shown that BlueBettaUSA has a very bad reputation for just this kind of thing.
I hope that this has not soured you bettas. Most of us are a great bunch.
Here as well as other places, you'll find sellers that are known for high quality fish, and being good all around people.
I will say this, if you paid with paypal, you can file a complaint with them.
You can also file a complaint if you used a credit card.
One or both of them should get you your money back. Also, see if his home town has a consumer fraud division, and file a complaint against him that way.
This is the only way to stop this kind of person.

Thank you very much for your reply. I just could not believe his attitude about the whole matter. Thanks also on the advice for getting payment back. I know there are reputable folks out there, its just aggravating.

You are not the only one who has had the same complaint, not only with reguards to his selling practices, but his responces to those who contact him about the fish he has sold.

hmmm...interesting thread. i was considering purchasing some fishes from them. he seems to have a lot of positive testimonials tho. but always good to know the bad side too. appreciate the post.
