Wow Mumu! They're looking awesome! :WOW: If I had more money and space I would love to get a pair. Unfortunately I don't have either of those. ^_^ Good luck with selling them! :hawaiibanana

You see how he teases us..
7 hours later, and still only one pic.
I mean, dude, I know getting a decent pic of these fish can be difficult sometimes, but it isn't THAT hard.

LOL I am so sorry. Once again, I am using all of my time at the musical. Today I was there from 7:30 to 3:00.
Yesterday, the fish weren't cooperating. They just wouldn't flare. lol And I am also having a hard time deciding which fish I want to keep and which should go.
Please, bear with me. I will get up pictures as soon as I can. But right now, I have family over from out of state. Sorry everyone!
MObetta122 - July 1, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
Chop chop MUMU we are waiting lmao !
Mumusuki - August 1, 2007 09:17 PM (GMT)
*BUMP*
You all better love me because I took my whole day and posted the bettas!!! :) :) :) Look above for the modified original post.
LaBella - August 1, 2007 09:56 PM (GMT)
Mumu, that first male makes 180.
The white and blue looks like an asymmetrical show plakat. The 20 dollar one is a VERY nice fish even with his red vents, and the VT isn't a VT, he just has uneven fin growth for some reason.
Mumusuki - August 1, 2007 10:05 PM (GMT)
I put SD on the first one because his edges are kind of rounded. Well, it was my mistake, and I am too lazy to go back and change it on all of the sites I have posted.
Could you explain Asymmetrically Show plakat to me? You are talking about RS 13, right?
Yes, the $20 one is one that I decided not to keep, although he was a keeper originally.
Yeah I don't know what is going on with that little guy. His top rays are strong, but they bend down like a VT
East Coast Bettas - August 2, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
Mumu.. I agree. Hold on to RS4 for your breeding program.
leafgirl115 - August 2, 2007 03:33 AM (GMT)
You have done a great job!!!
Mumusuki - August 2, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Ok, I may keep him. I just had him up for sale because he does have a LOT of red.

Mumusuki - August 6, 2007 09:54 PM (GMT)
Don't resist!
I will give discounts. :)

RS13 and RS18 are both PKs to me.
The term super delta is used for long finned fish.
When you go IBC, you learn, there is no HMPK. That what people call HMPK was at one time the Modern Show Plakat. The name was changed with the induction of the Symmetrical Plakat.
The three types are fairly simple to tell apart, though there are MANY fish that are transitional between the three types.
This is what I believe.
The breeding of Traditional Show Plakats (TSP) into HM lines brought about the ASP, (Asymmetrical Show Plakat).
The TSP had a rounded or spade tail, and a long pointed anal fin.
From the HM/TSP fish came plakats with sharper edged tails that made the 180 "D" shape, more branching than the TSP's no more than secondary branching, and extended dorsals. However, it did have the long, sloped anal fin.
These fish became the MSP (Modern Show Plakat), who with the name change are now ASPs.
The continued breeding of the MSP into HM fish eventually produced the fish we call the Symmetrical Plakat.
These fish just like HM fish, with shorter fins, which is why they are known as the "Short Moon".
I know, much ado about nothing, but when I see SD, I think long fin. a PK that doesn't make a full 180 spread is NOT an HMPK, even though that may be the breeding of the fish, but when have you heard SDPK?
That is why the IBC stresses use of the correct terminology.
Even if the fish does not have 180 degree spread, it is still an ASP.
Mumusuki - August 7, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
Well, I figured they WERE longfins because of their long anal fins. I haven't seen many short-fins that has as long of anals as those particular fish.
bigphunny - August 7, 2007 04:42 AM (GMT)
Hey Mumu, did everyone on your list actually take bettas? I'm very curious ;)
Mumusuki - August 7, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
Nope. Only one person from the list has had bettas shipped to them from me. A lot less than I expected <_<
AiWen - August 7, 2007 05:39 AM (GMT)
Hey Josh, any marble females? I know I shouldn't even be asking, but I've just sold some jade so I might have just enough for a girl or two.
How much are you asking? And how much was shipping via priority mail?
Thanks.

Mumusuki - October 29, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Yes, I know... old topic.... But they are from the same spawn. :)
I posted this on a few other forums, so much of this information is stuff you already know. lol
I have quite a few bettas for sale right, but these two males I have recent pictures for:
RS5- $6

RS3- $10

They are both Turquoise HMPKs from the same spawn(My Rocky x Sassy spawn. Dad's picture in my signature). They are gorgeous fish from a spawn of 2 marble parents that threw marbles and DT Genos. I am only letting them go so cheap because I need to get this spawn out before my parents complain anymore. :P I would be sending
quite a few extras in the box, unless you say that you don't want extras. This is because, as I said, I really need to get these bettas out. Extras may include long-finned and short-finned males as this spawn threw both. As for sibling females, the females I have left I will be keeping for breeding.
Shipping will include box, supplies, and a heat pack. Express $27 and Priority $15 Express with a live arrival guarantee.
If you are interested, let me know, because I need to ship these guys out either tomorrow(Tuesday) or next Monday, Novermber 5th(because I am out of school on those days).
Thanks!
Greentetra - October 30, 2007 06:17 AM (GMT)
I still want him. Grrrr! Why do I never have any money when all the good fish come around? <_<
Mumusuki - October 30, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
LOL Well, these fish have been around for quite a long time.
Ani - November 5, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
