I have been looking for a male Plakat to breed to an older female. He took 3rd place in the new breeder class. This boy definately has the size. I am hoping the female has the fertile eggs to go with her. I will have a post on them in the spawn log soon.

That female I bought for my brother was the sister to thia guy.
She is HUGE.
The male is just bigger than the the frosteds, minimal show size, really.
So... when you are done with him, I am going to need to borrow him.
Or rather, my brother is going to need to borrow him, lol.

ACK! That's small! Hopefully he will decide to do the deed soon. He's got a 9.5 on bubblenest, 9.8 on wooing, but about a 1.4 on execution. :(

I have a nice big steel male in spawn rite now with a frosted fem :) he has a >.oo1 on execution LMAO!! he just wants to sit and stare at her for now i swear heheeeeeeee so hopefully we all get this :hug: :hug: soon LOL

Yeah, we do certainly need some more size on the frosteds.
This cross might do it.
I also think, and this is just me.. that some one needs to remind these fish, or maybe it is just mine, that one of the hallmarks of a fosted fish is that they are MARBLED.
I see nary a bit of marble in any of mine.

With a dorsal like that I have no doubt in my mind that there is some Doubletail somewhere in the mix. :D
