ok so my fry from my last spawn are starting to get bigger and will be moving to the 30 gallon i have once i rehome my goldfish so i'll have my 5 and 10 gallon back. i just kinda want to experament to see what i get. iv got 4 fish that im thinking of expieramenting with to see what i get. one lavender bf hmpk female, a young sd/hm blue marble who looks like he will be a blue bf instead(not complaining), a blue/green bf sd female, and a black copper hm male. what do you think of the pairs?? should i try these, should i switch them up or should i not try any of them for this??

I think your gonna get a wide variety of colors from both pairings, bella will have a more detailed answer for you, but I know most of those colors pictured do not breed true, and when introducing the marble gene you open up pandoras box :D do you know what color any of the parents were? I think we can all look for ward to pics of multi colored fry :rolleyes: you'll hve fun discovering all the colors pop up on your fry :T

i know the father of the blue marble was a celo sd i believe and im not positive but his mother was a marble hm. i have nothing on the other 3 except for a matchig lavender hmpk sibling to the first female.

I have no idea what you will get, but I love that black copper guy :)

I think it would be wonderful to just go for it with any combination! You could get some super cool babies! That's how new color strains come about - experimenting! You gotta keep us posted though!

thanks guys iv started conditioning them, and hale the first pair in the spawn tank. now its just waiting.

Both pairs are marble/metallics.
F1 crosses are usually a mess.
I can promiss you multis, BFs, marbles and metallics, but other than that, there is no way to predict what you are going to get out of those parings.
