I am horrified :( I went with my dad to an LFS today and saw a bunch of sibling females in a tank... Most of them with ventraless with crooked backs and torn tails but what saddens me the most were two UNDERFED, SKINNY girls :o




I mean just look at them... It really saddens me to see skinny girls. They should never look like this :( Call me biased but I don't mind seeing males like this but females? That's abuse to the highest level :(

I ended up catching and taking them home. Those pictures weren't as bad as when I just saw them since they were fed some pellets before the pics. Let's see how long it takes me to buffen them up like my other lassy :D

All fish deserve proper care and someone who cares enough to provide it. It angers me to see any abused animal and such things spark an urge to seriously hurt someone.

Yep, and the problem is as soon as you buy them all up to save them, the pet store just orders more that will sit there and suffer. But if you don't bring them home with you, they sit there and suffer on the shelves. Argh, what to do! :(
