how do you care for spixi snail babies? I got a new betta from Yeevs a week ago. Well I had him ship it to me at work . Well when my friend at work saw my juvenile red female he sent me she wanted one of his males. So he sent her a red juvenile male. He also sent her a moss plant and some baby spixis. She gave me a couple . one is about half the size of a pencil eraser and the other about quarter the size of a pencil eraser . What do I feed them etc. I have two apples ( adults ) in with the new juvinile female betta. Will the adults eat these guys? What do I feed them? I know Bella and some of the other members have spixis , so that I why I am asking . I asked on Applesnail.net but no one seems to be on right now. I have them on in a cup on my desk ready to go home with me this evening

Just feed them what you feed the adults. Sinking shrimp pellets, leftover drowned flakes, veggies and all that good stuff :) ... they also *supposably* eat algae.

Thanks AiWen. Do you think they are big enought to put in with the bigger apples or do you think they will eat them?

Snails don't eat snails, at least my spixis and nerites don't eat the tiny ramshorns and MTS.

I don't know of any freshwater snails that eat snails, so all should be well.
