They had two unsuccessful attempts, so I've been reconditioning for a month. Since I found out they carry the DT gene, I should expect about 25% DT, correct?

It is depends what their parent are originally. If either one is a doubletail, then You might get 25 to 50%. Wish you luck. ;)
