Title: Is there wild in her?

East Coast Bettas - June 25, 2006 03:23 AM (GMT)
I got this mystery female from my LFS that gets in mixed lot of females. She was a neglected Juvie and now that she's all grown up, I am wondering if she's just a veil or something more. Thanks

Mostly wild!! Look at the color distribution and the thick flat rays in the caudal. Those usually tell the story.

If I may ask, does she do anything to build up my stock? What would be best to breed her with? Or is she best left to be a pet fish? Thanks again.

She could be a fair fondation for a H1 traditional plakat class Line. Not that bad of a fish for its type.

What type would you think? And here is the male I think I will breed with her.
