Awesome how to Dinger! It's very similar to my design. Only difference is mine is a bit smaller for individual tanks. It uses a ribbed water bottle cut down below the first few ribs, plastic needlepoint mesh gets held in by the ribs and you top it off using 3/4" clear hose as an uptake.



I am definately going to try your idea on some of my spawn tanks! The amount of media allows for a much more efficient filter for bigger tanks. Thank You!
