Here's My Butterfly CT. Don't have pics of the female yet, but will try to get some before they head to the spawning tank.
And here's my marble DDR CT boy. No pics of his lady friend yet either.

Are you breeding them soon? I heard from guppybetta say that they are good in hard water. I want him to confirm. :)

The blue butterfly pair will be after the orange CTPK pair. Then the marble pair whenever the female "eggs up".
I've had pretty good luck with my water, (no curling rays yet) I'm just waiting for the spawning tabk water to finish cycling after I ruined the cycle with a super heavy dose of meds to kill some parasites in it.

As far as hard water.... Mine is so hard I'm surprised the fish can swim and I haven't had problems with curling either.

i would breed the first guy. He is my fav of the two without a doubt ;) However I would not spawn the second one if you are going for finnage. Yes CTs do seem to do good in hard water

The marble guy's caudle has grown longer and is pretty symmetrical to the others now, so he's pretty well balanced. I'll probably breed him at some point, but he's not high on my priorities right now.

I'm offically jealous of all these beautiful fish everyone has!!! It makes me want to jumpo the gun and get some, but I know I'm not ready yet :(.

Well, when you're ready and decide what type you want to start with, just let it be known here on the forum. I'm sure someone has some nice fish you could pick up at a really reasonable price.

yup don't jump the gun yet. Wait till you have everything ready. And like mentioned , let us all know with a post what you are looking for and someone probably will have somethign available. Yeevs as well as others often have some fish they want to sell.
