Yeevs I have a gorgeous ct male that has BOTH eyes like that. He looks like one of those black moor type goldfish eyes and he doesnt have popeye cuz his water is pristine. Let me get some pics of him so you all can see him ........... :D

I got him from petco cuz i felt bad that he had popeye. Well after meds and clean water he still has them and is very healthy so its not popeye. I thought about breeding him to see what he would throw but we will see. To me he is just a cute odd pet betta at the moment......... :D

Well just as with most oddities, there is probably a market for bubble eyed bettas.

You should breed him, just as an experiment ;)

He is a pastel. Apricots are more like my spotty boys.

I thought he was but wasn't for sure. My Ginseng is a male pastel crowntail.

Pastels are cool, I like my peach metalics, which I have NO idea what the genetics of the color is, lol.

yup I do not know either since he and Phoebe were from lfs . but both of them are of good quality. Passed up a lot of bettas that were so so before I found the two of them

My peach metallics are from 3/4 orange breeding and 1/4 brass breeding, but I have a male that is 1/2 yellow marble breeding, 1/4 brass and 1/4 orange, and he looks to be a peach metallic.
I actually don;t even know if these fish ARE pastels, lol
