Oh wow! Lookie at that first one... lost the baby stripes and got some color! They must be happy and well fed. :D

They are pretty shy. I have my babies in a tank under the 55g, so it's practically on the floor. I just get a pillow and lay down to watch them. If I hold really still for a few minutes, they come out to play. If one of the dogs come to check out what I'm doing on the floor... zip! They all run and hide. They are some silly little fish. I still have about 20 (or so) babies left and I set up my adult pair for another spawn... They haven't gotten busy yet. I think I need to stuff some more plants in there. I "borrowed" a bunch of plants from their tank to set up a plakat spawn ( I HAVE BABIES!). It's pretty pathetic when hornwort and java moss won't grow fast enough to cover all the tanks. LOL

there's one big one who's trying for dominent in the tank, and I think that first pic is of him lol, I caught him flairing at one of the middle sized ones this morning! They seem to be slowly getting used to me, though they definetly do better if I dont' move real fast when I'm watching them.

Belle, you're seeing the end of it, not the side, so that does through off the perspective.

I figgered that.. It just looks really TALL for some reason, lol.

:OO RB, the fish that Ruth has ARE from my mahachai spawn. I traded with her for some of her loverly babies! I've tried to take pictures of them and I suck as a photographer! :blink: I need to try to get some pictures of the mahachai and all my other new babies... everytime I try, the kids have run down the batteries on the stupid camera!

Uhh, I don't know what's up for this weekend. I should be home on Sunday at the least. You planning on running down this way? You can see my new fishies! :lolo:

Aaaww. Sorry the girl is being a putz! I guess I got the good girl myself. She's spawned like three times now. She's wonderful and has a similar personality to your boy. Cool fish. I have about 5 babies from them that are looking good.

Ok, their new home....not quite as many plants as I want, still working on that lol (the tank is a former barracks, i just pulled out the dividers, didn't bother to try to remove the silicone from the glass, am lazy)
