I'm am oh so familiar with Oregon. I lived in Talent for awhile and I lived in Ashland. A few years back I was going to move to Springfield but plans got changed. I'll be back in the area once I am finished here caring for my parents. I love the west coast. I've lived in CA, WA and OR.

Are you close to Springfield Eugene area? (added) Duh! You aren't if you're between Salem and Portland.
It's on the bend of the river somewhat south of town going down the highway and you come to where there is this high sheer bluff right on the water's edge. My spot is on top of that bluff.
