Chat rooms on forums are new to me too. I would have to wait till I get to the library to use it though. I am at work most of the time when I post and they don't allow us to use chat at work. :OPPS:

I can't use that chat here, it has a ringing when someone enters something, and I can't gte it to turn off, I am overly sensitive to sounds.
It is just one of my many weirdnesses.

you could always turn the sound down on your computer. Constant dinging noises bother me too. So either we are both normal or both weird :OO :LOL:

What is so bad is that the ringing in the chat room is NOT an unpleasant sound.
It is actually quite nice, but I just can't deal with it, it is some harmonic or something, and it vibrates in my inner ear, and down my spine, and it drives me crazy.

I know . Reptitive noises get on my nerves too

Even white noise drives me buggers. I hate the least little bit of static on the stereo. Hate it.

noise doesn't bother me , just if it is repetitive, then it bugs me

I used it the one time, and the bringing drived me crazy, and I could not shut it off, which was ven worse, I haven't been back.
Some people like the sound, but I am over sensitive to noises like I said, and I just couldn't take it, so... there you go, I don't use the chat.
I am here, or IM... where I have the sound turned off.

hey posting is better than chating. you get credit for posts but not chatting. It is really about the same anyway.l used to get on Yahoo a lot but they type and move to fast for me to keep up. See what happens when you get old :OO

I find most people have a hard time keeping up with me, period... I am posting here, reading two other messageboards, as well as IMing two people, talking on the phone, and having a conversation with my cousin... And listening to my music.
