Title: O.o These Two Are Broken!

 Wow. I was picking on RC tonight because his pair of yellows have now been loose and in with eachother for about two weeks. They haven't killed eachother. They haven't chewed eachother up to peices. They are happy and friendly and swim around eachother in the front of the tank all of the time. I'm looking at them and going :verysurprise "Are you bettas or gold fish?!?!?!"

And they are as content as could be! I think they are broke.

That can be frustrating.
Yeah, I like it when they aren't shredding each other, but when they want to be friends and hang out, I want to smack my head into a wall, lol.

LOL God, that's frustrating! My pair of opaque/plats are like that. This time around he decided to be a shredder and I thought for sure something was going to happen 1 week later still nadda. Now she is recouping in her own tank.

Yeah, I set a spawn..
They were acting like they were breeding, but no eggs even though she was full of them, and then they got spooked thanks to the kid I atch.
I left them together, because they weren't chewing each other up, and they were happily living together, and then out of no where, the female.. I don't know what happened, like her swim bladder ruptured or something.
I don't even know how else to describe it. She is laying flat on her side, and down her side, the swim bladder is a bruised looking color.
I don't think the male did anything to her though.
And nothing fell on her.
Time before that, a different pair, the female dropsied overnight.. and something else. I have body picks, really ugly.
I have another pair that had been cohabitating, but I decided to try a trick I heard about, and I let their water get really nasty, and really los, like 2 inches low from about 5 inches.. and then I just refilled the tank to 5 inches, and they have gone from friends, to the male chasing her, so who knows..
PLUS there was a little drizzling earlier, so the barometers low.
I can only hope. The male is a red marble, and the female is a red cambo carrying yellow.
Hmm..
Maybe I should put this in the Spawning Pair Showcase, lol.

Anyway. I sometimes have luck letting them live together, but most of the time I don't.
