Hey all,
I see that lots of people use the beanie boxes, and I'm thinking for my best ones that might be what I do. I like that they are square with the flat sides and space saving. Nice to see through. Many things I read say that they hold 1/2 gallon of water or better!
So for the question, what dimensions hold what amount of water, and where do you get them at a good price?
Also, with a drip type system, I'm guessing holes are drilled in them. (I haven't looked into the drip system much yet, as I don't have a space for it.) Or maybe I do and am not aware, how much space do your's require?
Anyone that can point me at a good DIY site or article, as well as any tips you might have for me regarding container &/or drip type systems are appreciated. Or if you have a different system that you want to mention.
If it helps to know, I am on good well water, no chlorine etc. to treat. I am looking for the most time, space, and cost efficient way of keeping them as I have a young family and time is an issue most of the time.
Ill hang around and see what every one says :)
http://www.fishforums.com/forum/fish-aquar...a-fishroom.htmlThis is a post that RC put up on another site of his fish room. I think this is of when he had it set up as a drip system. I'll harrass him and have him help yah out. These are old pics, and I'll either have him put up new ones or take some myself. You do need space between the containers to give yourself room to flood. Poke RC and he'll give you more specifics as to how he built his.
And I will say that flat sides are nice, but since you need space between the containers, round ones will work.
Wow, that bettaboy guy on that post was being SO dumb!!!
Thanks for the pics J. I actually would like something more like RC & you have now, where it is more of an automatic water changer than a constant drip system. Just to save some time where it is feasible.
