I took pics of the daughters today and an updated pic of this boy, but I have to upload them to my computer yet. I have a nice clean red cambo girl that is the same size of her mother already. Her fins are very uniformed and she is getting round now. I will use her to breed back to her father.

They were born Nov. 4th so they are going on 4 months now. I got two yellow cambo girls as well and they are looking like they will both have the BF pattern, but the yellow is so light I cannot tell. The other red cambo female has a nice point to her dorsal, but has a bit of irri to her and her dorsal fin is small.

Ok, the girls are in the female community tank now so there are others around them. They are the red and yellow cambodians in the photos below.

Here is their community tank before I did a 50% water change on them the next day. There are 12 females in there with 3 bristlenoses. Watersprite, java fern, and LOTS of wild weedy duckweed is in the 20 gallon long tank with them. I use a sponge filter and the tank is kept at 80 degrees F at all times. I also added a little old worn castle cave in there after that water change and took out the coconut shell with java fern and placed that in another tank for my kribs to explore in.

Here is an updated pic of the son as well. He is in a circular jar so it may make him look a little off, but he is not (don't worry).

Very nice.

WOW. How big are they? It looks like their offspring also big too. Looks good! Want to see how they bloom when they get to adult size. Do you think some will be 75% giant? ^_^

Yeah, how old are the offspring?

^ As stated in my first post ^ :P They were born on Nov. 4th, 2006. So we are looking at 4 months old. I think most will be bigger than mom and dad if not the same size. So looking at 50-75% giants. If I can get the tank set-up this week I will try to get dad in with his daughter before she gets too big for him :lolo: .

I was so lucky to find these guys. I had been searching for giant HM reds, but could only find plakats in various colors of blue and multis.

Last time is from nicebettas. But I didn't see any giant from her now. ^_^
