Wait, are you trying to breed?

If he has just made a bubblenest, you don't need to anything.... unless you are trying to spawn, that is...

Are you using a 10 gallon tank?

If you haven't got the girl in already, what I do is get a plastic mesh canvas (~$0.79 cents for a LARGE size; you only need the small size, technically, which is about a quarter's worth) and divide the tank in half. I put the girl on the other size, and the boy on the other, and give them a few hours.

I think she got a cambodian female. It will be fun to see Jillian learning how to breed betta. Sure a lot of questions from her to all of you. LOL :lolo:
I hope she already read all the tips how to spawn the bettas. Go for it. :T
