Title: Eggs Keep Falling

My green/turquoise HMPK pair spawned yesterday (my first spawn in almost 2 years) and I noticed that the males eggs keep falling out of the nest, there are a lot on the floor of the tank but almost none that I can see in the nest. He'll go down to the floor and pick some up and blow them into the nest but they fall right back out, I think hes getting tired and frustrated because no matter what he does they keep falling. Not sure what to do, will the ones on the floor be ok? :H

Well, if the male have no mood anymore and ignoring the eggs, just take him out. Just let the eggs hatch by itself. Do put the malachite green so the eggs won't get fungus. Makesure the water is 81 to 82 degree F. Lower the water to 2 1/2" high. Once the frys hatch, they can swim up. Did you using any Artison betta spa and IAL? Those are good.

If you don't have any of that green stuff, I actually add a few drops of Maracyn(an anti-fungus that is found in most pet stores) to prevent the eggs from fungus. :)
