is red wash passed on to fry and is it possible to get rid future gen of the red wash in future gen if it is passed on i know i kinda am rambling but just curious to know and what could be done

Usually passed on to the fry. When you pick your breeders out of the grow-out, just try to choose the ones with the least red wash.

yes red wash is passed on to fry. It is possible to bred the red out of a line by selective breeding or by adding the red-loss gene to the line.

Adding red loss, however also can mean in many cases adding marble.. and also red gain.
Just something to think about.
