The finnage is kind of chunky for me, but maybe the babies would look better. And the platinum is more of a comb-PK if you ask me. :)

I just can't get excited about the platinums. Betta_Center had two pair listed (one w/ yellow head) and they just don't do it for me??? I got burnt on the red pair I bought, so from now on, I'll just breed my own!!

The platinum would not show as a CT since it has very little web reduction and the other pair would be faulted for the less then 25% web reduction in the caudal. I do like the color of the platinum better :D

Is there any talk in the IBC of setting a standard for the CTPKs and making it a recognized "tail type" or form of betta?? As I understand it, at the moment they would have to be shown as a CT.

CT Plakats would be shown G1- color and form variations. As far as I know there hasn't been many-if any CT plakats shown this season so the IBC is not looking into making any classes for them. We only make new classes if the fish being shown show a need for it so anyone that loves the CT plakat get showing them.
