Next weekend My local Superpetz will have a sale on aquariums = $1 per gallon on 20 gal (L & H), 29 gal, 55 gal, and 75 gal.
I don't know how many stores they have or how widely spread they are, but if you've got one near you, check it out!!

I don't know if they have a price match guarantee or not. Probably wouldn't match the price unless here was a Superpetz nearby. I looked them up & they have 31 stores in 10 states. They do have stores in Indiana and Ohio but the rest are east coast stores

They say there's a whole slew of people out on the left coast, but I don't know how reliable the source is. I've yet to see it, so I'm not sure if I believe it or not. I've been kinda afraid to go too far in that direction for fear of falling off the edge of the world. :coverlaugh

Well, I went over and bought two 20L tanks to use for grow-out tanks. $40 for the two, and my LFS quotedme a price of $54 for 1 bare tank. Wish I had the extra money to blow, I would like to have gotten a couple of the 75 gal w/ stand.

yup if you watch petsmart's adds they occaisonally run the $1 for a gallon thing too. You just have to be a pets pal member ( free to sign up) to get the discount

Well if you need extra tanks, now would be the time to get them. BQ said that PetSmart has the same sale once in while. I don't know how often they have it,but this is the first sale that I've seen (at either) since I've gotten back into fish. The pricing on 10's isn't a big deal as you can buy them everyday at WallyWord for $10, but I bought the two 20Ls for$14 less than the LFS quoted me for one, so yeah, that was a great price. There are equal, if not better savings on the larger sizes too. (55-75 gal)
