30 gallon is a little difficult because it is very TALL. You can just use plastic canvas sheets (that's what I use) if you're cheap, or you can try custom cut acrylic rectangles if you have the money to burn.
If you are looking for technical 3 gallon for a betta in a 30 gallon, that is not very good because 30 gallon is tall, so the 3 gallon space would be VERY narrow.

Personally, I like dividing 10 gallons more than I like dividing 30 gallons. I just use my 30 gallon for my female sorority/semi-community instead. ;) But my 10 gallons and 5 gallon on the other hand are mercilessly divided.

Don't worry, I believe all of us here are like that. :OO :OO I live in a tiny DORM ROOM (one small room shared with another person!) and I have a 30 gallon tank, two 10 gallons and a 5 gallon. I am looking into another 5 gallon tank and endless # of jars. :OO :OO I think I may start sleeping on the floor to make space for another tank. :OO :OO :OO :OO :OO

hahhaa .. yeah .. i had that same question ./. i got a 30g and you can get dividers to fit it from petsmart ... but i didnt like the narrow and tall thing!! .... so im using the 20g divided into 4 for 4 boys ... (theyre currently sitting in 1g containers inside the 30g thats half filled with heated water ,,....) .. well 3 of them are and theyre pks... and flare at each other a lot so im hoping once theyre really close neighbours in the 20g they might calm down a bit!! ....

oh also .. if you were to buy dividers from petsmart make sure you print of the info from the website then get the shop to match the price!! ... saves $2.50 per divider!!
