Title: Set for Toya?

Toya - July 8, 2008 07:37 AM (GMT)
Can I get a smexi set for Toya? I'm asking for an Avatar, Table, and Sig if you would please. I really have no specifics but I would like for him to be featured in the table. His profile can be found here.

And, I have no uber witty sayings for Toy, so you can come up with what you like if you'd prefer. 'Tis up to you. ^^

I'd like to try my hand at this, but I'm not particularly fast, so... if anyone wants to make a set before I've posted mine up here, by all means do so.

But... I'll see what I can do. Any colors you prefer? :]

There's the avatar, though I'm not too pleased with it. I'll redo it, if y'want. Infact, it looks too wide for the board, so I think I'll be making a new one regardless.

And the table/sig will be coming up tomorrow; it's too late to think now.

Actually, I love it! It is too wide though. *cries*

I like the mood in that avvie and, unfortunately, I have no colors in mind. You're free to do as you will. :P

Thank you. ^^

A good thing about this site is that you can have more than one set and keep them all stored in your characters thread :) I might also have a go with this one, once I've read the profile, lol. Then I'll come up with a slogan to.

Shade - Ah, thank you! And I eagerly await them both. :D

Thank you both, you're awesome! ^^

I just wanted to say...

Maya, I love your rainbows. <33333

I wish I knew how to do that without adding textures and layers on top of layers.

x3

Calden - July 10, 2008 03:24 PM (GMT)
It's easy! You use adobe psp? All you do is add a new fill layer, and fill it with a rainbow gradient, whichever one you want. Then you change the layer to I think either soft light or overlay, experiment, and then just adjust the opacity. :D

Oh, wow - what a table! *drools* Thank You!!

You guys are wonderful. ^^

*goes to use*

I have no idea how to code, though. XD

She had the whole thing planned out. Really, it was too simple: she'd sit there and look all pretty-like, cast her amber eyes downward and spin some story that'll make him pity her enough to escort her safely to the oasis. ('this big male...he's being so very mean to me!' she would say. 'I don't feel...I don't feel as if I am safe going all alone, you know? But if he saw you..') A sick part of her was actually looking forward to the act; to pretending that she was something that she was not. Namely - cute. For Vienna could be described in a lot of very nice ways - hot, seductive, gorgeous - and a lot of not-so-nice ways - slutty, tempermental, vicious. But cute didn't fit into either catagory. She turned her shoulder away somewhat (it certainly wouldn't do to look all gory when she was trying to act cute) and flashed Calden her winningest smile.

He didn't budge. She knew that he'd heard her; his black-tipped ears flicked backwards to catch her words. But his face still pointed into the crevice, and his body stayed put right where it was. Vienna, as usual, didn't even consider the fact that he might be ignoring her. The thought never crossed her mind. Instead, she opened her mouth to repeat her question loudly - perhaps he hadn't heard her? Thankfully, Calden chose that moment to move. He was on his feet quickly, and turned in her general direction. His stance was firm, strong, and arrogant - his movements a swagger. It was, however, a very tentative swagger. He placed his black-tipped feet in front of his body with absolute authority - but the movements were familiar, remniscenct of another blind wolf she had once known. Calden's walk was a good deal like Leo's, who was one of the few wolves Vienna had actually admired. For a split second Vienna thought he was going to walk right past her, but he corrected his corse expertly as he drew closer and eventually came to face her. It was unnerving, really, once Vienna had figured it out. He was, in her humble opinion, beautifully exotic, with his bright fur all windtossed and airy. His eyes were unsimilarly bland; but then, who was amber-eyed Vienna to judge? Unlike Vienna's orbs, however, Calden's were empty. Well, empty was not the right phrase, Vienna decided as she leaned back on her haunches (most of her visual acting dropped at this point) and watched him. His eyes were dark and mismatched somehow (although she couldn't figure out what was different between the two) and deep with annoyance. It was almost like looking in a mirror.

'Well,' Vienna thought to herself with a self-appreciative grin. 'At least I won't have to keep up the outward charade. I just have to sound cute.' This whole plan, of course, went right out the window the moment Calden opened his mouth. "As to answer yer question lassie: yes I can ‘elp you. Will I, ‘owever, is wot you shoulda asked. ’Now, wot’s yer name lassie and wot’ve you dun to yerself?” His voice was thick with an accent that was as unfamiliar to Vienna as his coloration; the words rolled expressively off his tongue in clipped, measured syllables, each sound ending abruptly, as if he'd bitten it off at the very last second. After she was through digesting this unusual accent (which took at least ten seconds) she actually began to process the words. He knew she was hurt?! Hurriedly, she glanced down at her mangled shoulder, as if blaming it for betraying her. Way to ruin her charade! Cute wolfesses did not get battlewounds! (not, though, that she'd really participated much in the whole 'battle' portion.)
Infinately miffed at being found-out so soon, Vienna was a bit less than friendly. "I'm Vienna Ri." She told him shortly, narrowing her eyes. "And I don't know what a lassie is, but I hope it's a good thing, or else you'll be real sorry. Because I got this in a fight." The quick personality change would no doubt be obvious to Calden, as would the pride with which she uttered the last sentence that made it perfectly clear that she'd only been in one fight in her life, and should Calden make any violent moves in her direction she'd be 'otta there faster than you could say 'coward'.
"Who are you? You're new here; I'd remember it if I'd seen you before." She tilted her chin higher, a slight tip to her arrogant smirk. A compliment from Vienna was almost as rare as one of her genuine laughs; doubtless, however, the effort would go unappreciated by Calden.
