In a land parallel to our own lies the drastically different world of Phylos, a land of intrigue, of mystery, of magic. The lands have lived in peace for years and resemble our own Middle Ages with one alteration: The land of Phylos has been shaped by the eight Schools of Souel, each corrolating to a basic element of the universe; Light, Life, Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Lightning and Darkness. Souel, the power of the spirit to affect changes in the world to defy the laws of science, has ever been a part of this world, and an inate part of every living being in existance.

Throughout the centuries, the humans, the mighty Gorinthians and the 'flower children'-the Aclians all lived in harmony, until the Princess Relinda attempted to gather all eight pieces of the Staff of Souel, a magic-bound weapon that held power to rival the Gods. She was stopped and the Staff destroyed.

It is now decades after Relinda's attempt to gain power, and now a sword has been created out of the same material as the Staff of Souel, a rare material known as Felsorite. This unique ore has the exceptional ability to absorb an infinate amount of souel that the wielder can use anyway they see fit. Before a catastrophe could ensue, however, the sword was shattered and scattered to the far reaches of Phylos.

What will you do now, traveler? This Felsorite is rather powerful, will you search for it? If you do, you have been warned, for you are not the only one seeking it. How shall you use it, for good?
