I went on the HS forum, but no help or interest on this topic.. The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum will have a tribute and Exhibit honoring Native American wrestlers at at the 2010 NCAA Championships in Omaha, next March.
They are looking for info and trivia questions on Native Americans that had success on the Mats. I know John Sterner, from The Sioux Tribe and SW MN State, defeated Pat Whitcomb in The NAIA Championships in the late '80's. Dick Redfoot was an NAIA All-American from Moorhead State in the early 60's.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Leading Fox from Central Okalhoma was a standout wrestler in Division II.

Johny Hendricks mother was 1/2 indian, so that would make him 1/4. I don't think that counts as enough though, I believe you need to be 1/2 for it to classify as your ethnicity
