Title: NORD AT 197?
twall03 - September 19, 2009 02:03 PM (GMT)
Some people have mentioned Eidenschenk as the probable starter now, but what about Joe Nord. I think I remember seeing that he competed in a tournament earlier this year at 211 lbs. Was he trying to see if he could possible make the cut to 197? Anybody have any info on this?

He was at 96kg at university nationals. Sounds plausible to see him at 197.

Nord at 197. That was the buzz at NCAA's last season.
We'll see if he can wrestle well after the huge cut.

Looks to be the case after reading J's article.

Only seven more month until he can eat a meal.
This will put a new meaning on an athlete being "hungry" to succeed.
Best of luck to Mr. Nord.

I can't wait to see him wrestle at the Bison Open. I would guess he will better with time.

197. I'll have to see it to believe it. I may be wrong. Doesn't even sound
like a healthy cut for him.
