I am sad to say that former Gopher wrestler and Nobel Prize winner Norman Borlaug passed away yesterday at the age of 95. He is credited with most likely saving the lives of millions of people due to his work with crop genetics and improving agriculture in poor countries. Truely a great representative for the wrestling community, and I was very proud when I learned he was a distant cousin of mine.

I Didn't know he wrestled! The man is a hero. So sad. :(
