However, she loves high fashion and her favorite designer is Betsy Johnson.

If nothing else is to be said about Avery Thompson it's that she's strong. No matter what seems to happen to her she always pushes through it. She's never really been one to be afraid of anything, well except a life long fear of Big Bird that she can't seem to shake, but essentially she's the kind of girl to always take life head on. As a child, Presley was never the sweet and princess-y type, and spent more time watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and stealing her brother's action figures than anything else.
She's retained a lot of that, still pushing boundraies and doing what she wants. Presley's number one passion in life is fashion and has a self proclaimed addiction to clothes. She's constantly sketching and working on new designs. Avery is one of the top students at Pacifc, although school has never really been one of her number one priorities, it just so happens she always just sort of been smart. Avery is endlessly outspoken and is never afraid to tell you what she thinks and put you in your place if you don't agree with her. It's not that she's not a sweet person, she genuinely can be but the girl stands by EVERYTHING she thinks from her opinions on politics to her opinions on what earrings to wear.

Avery Thompson was born 17 years ago in Pacific, California. Her mother tends to say that she knew her daughter was different from the moment she was born but truly everything about the begning of Avery's life was picturesque to say the least. Her mother, Karen Thompson was the owner of a major dance studio, her father was an entertainment rep in L.A. and Avery and her brother Aaron lived in a little white house in the suburbs. Avery was indeed as said different, she spent most of her time hanging out with the boys, she hated dresses, and was absolutely obsessed with watching The Nightmare Before Christmas (even when her mother would have perfered that she watched Princess movies). It was remarkable to the people that surrounded her how soon Aver learned to talk and from that moment on it seemed as if she never stopped. Always opinonated about just about everything.
By age 10, Avery had discovered fashion, and it became her absolute obsession, her mother couldn't buy her anything without her trying to cut it up or change it in some creative way. Unfortunately, Avery's perfect life didn't exactly stay that way. Aver was always a Daddy's girl and her father was the biggest infulence in her young life, however when Presley was on 14, Brian Thompson died tragically in a car crash and Avery was never really the same.
This was about the time that Avery started high school. Somehow, Avery found a way to fit in, she made friends and she's been genuinely happy since then plus she's always had her best friend. Although memories of her father do still sadden her she knows that the only way to move on is to move forward and so that's exactly what she's been trying to do. Her major goal now is to get into fashion school in New York and to one day have her own clothing line.
