She and her twin sister were the 2nd born to the prestigious Moreau family which eventually came to include 5 daughters all together. The story of Verona's parents is kind of fairytale like, Eleana Velez was a model from Brazil and was on a cruise with her family in the south of france. Charles Moreau, who's family has owned Pacific cruises for 3 generations was on the same boat with the rest of the Moreau family. They were both young and impulsive then and at the tender age of 18 fell in love and were married before the cruise was over. They were certain that it was love and wanted nothing more than to be together. Years later Charles Moreau inherited Pacific cruises and it was right about then that their first daughter was born. Verona and her sister came into the picture a year after that.
It would seem to most people that it would be hard for a girl with 4 sisters to stand out in the crowd, especially if one of those sisters is your twin. However, Verona never had a problem being an individual. Always obsessed with clothes and fashion like her mother Verona demmanded that she be put into modeling and pagaents and that alone gave her her own sense of identity. Even as a child Verona was always very happy and she always loved to make the people around her happy as well. Known as Sunny both by her father and by family friends Verona has always been the kind of girl who's seen the best in just about everything.
