hello and welcome flexdeonblake ;) ...thanks for asking, I didn't make that clear so far...well, I posted something at the movie thread/k-20 about the production company looking for extras...this shooting will take place on 27th/28th this month in Matsuyama.

Usually when you're an extra you don't see the "big name" stars in the shots. Obviously, the bigger the star, the less likelihood of you seeing them. I've been extras in some movies (independent and mainstreams) here and there was only one time I met the lead actor and actress of the film. Still, I'd give a month's salary just so I could be an extra in that film!! I could come back and tell y'all "I was an extra in the movie Takeshi-san starred in and man, he's even more gorgeous in person!" :crackup :rofl Ahhh, one can dream though, can't they? ;)

The Robot blog are teasing us....with all these pics...so frequently, but of not much 'clues' of anything much. Is he in costume yet...? Urghhh... <_< :P

As for the bunches of back shots of Takeshi-san, you know a thought occurred to me that maybe, just maybe it's a ploy being used by the director to build "suspense" for this film. Think about it: the character Takeshi-san's playing is a guy with many faces, right? What better way to build buzz around your movie by showing only the lead actor's backside! If that's the producer's ploy, that's pretty clever... z)

Btw...there have been some articles in China about Onimusha...and TK's alleged participation. Director Christophe Gans will start shooting in April, not February...so some think now that TK will be in it since he has the time now.

It's very clever on the producer's part to leak these kind of pictures online. Surely he's able to take photos from any angle or distance that he wants, but these sneaky shots keep the fans interested without giving away any of the surprises they may want to keep until the movie release.
It's driving me crazy though - please Mr Ando, take just one pic of a dimple or a sideburn, or something!! Hehehee! :P

Some news tidbits here...right now I don't know what's going on since Chinese and Japanese blogs and forums come up with new articles about TK'S new project. Some say its Onimusha, some others say it's Tekken, some say the shooting will start in February in Hengdian some say in April...don't ask me which movie when.

I have no clue...my guess is...he won't be able to shoot three movies at the same time. I hope he's not mad and takes a role in Tekken. I will come over Onimusha since it's "his" game and such...but...you know, I already told you a few times what I think about it.
Imdb says that Takeshi Kaneshiro has 1 in-development credit available on IMDbPro.com.I don't have a Pro account anymore so I can't research that. But there is something similar there for Onimusha More information for this In Development project is only available on IMDbPro whereas the Tekken board is not hidden and doesn't contain info on TK.
So it could be Onimusha...

Miki, your tidbit about Biotherm validates what I have always thought...People wish that by using any product they see an "icon" use, it will make them more like that person. Of course it stands to reason then that if average Joe uses Biotherm products, women will suddenly find him more desirable, as if he now has absorbed some Takeshi hotness after applying the stuff!
