Soaring Eagles Magical Academy (mainly referred to as 'SEMA' by staff and pupils) is a boarding school for young witches and wizards from all across Northern America. SEMA's primary goals are to teach these youths of their gifts for the better, though there are always those who stray from the pack. Set up many years ago, the school still brings it more and more students every year, and each year is more eventful than the last.

The Ball
The main ball is held inside the Dining Hall, where there are decorations to suit the holiday and there is music for the students (or professors) to dance to. There are floating Halloween-related paraphernalia above the hall all over and there are various items of food and drink around the hall.

The Lake
Especially for the Halloween Ball, the lake has been somehow changed by a temporary spell to be a less-then-luminous orange colour. Yet after the night, the lake will continue to change colour, as usual. There are candles illuminating the lake, floating above it, as they are in the Dining Hall, and boats are still avaliable to take out onto the waters.

The Haunted Maze
The maze isn't really haunted. It's a name given to it by professor to try and scare the students. Because they're evil like that (especially Piper). But there are still scary things in the maze. Various creatures, though none would be a threat to the students' lives. There are mirrors which have been charmed to still show reflections, but they do things that the actual person aren't doing, which indeed would be rather scary. And in the middle is a bench. That's what you spend all your time getting lost to find!

Firthfaal
The small village of Firthfaal is where the students can meet up every weekend, look around and enjoy themselves. All students can go into the village and enjoy the shops and the bar in the centre of the village. In the centre of the village is a huge fountain, which is said to bring luck when money is tossed inside.

Houses and Homes
When Christmas rolls along, holidays, anything, students can hang around in their own comfy homes, doing whatever they wish and loving every second of the lack of work they have to do. As can the professors, now that you mention it.
