Livia pulled the arm of the basket higher and glanced at the stalls as she walked down Market Way. Finally, her eyes lit upon the herbs the healer had sent her for. "Sir, may I please have the thyme and the mint?" she asked the man behind the shelves. "Why, most certainly," he said. "That'll be 12 coppers, dear," he said. "And here's an apple, just because I feel good today." He tossed her one, and she caught it. She set off down the road, with the apple and her medicines, and a blacksmith's shop caught her eye. It couldn't hurt to have a look inside she thought, and she entered.

At the sound of door opening, Mercy looked up from the book she was reading to Lyonel. At the same time Lyonel turned around from where he sat to look at the door. "Welcome to Mercy's Eye, if you need any help my mommy will help you," he said smiling as he pointed to Mercy; he then looked back at his book.
Mercy stared at Lyonel for a second, shook her head and turned back to look at the petite blonde, "As this three-year-old stated, Welcome to Mercy's Eye, if you need any help just ask me. If you need anything made just ask, weapons along the wall, jewelry in the middle." Mercy gave a slight nod to the girl and went back to reading Lyonel his book.

"Thank you much, ma'am," Livia said. She didn't know what exactly had drawn her into the store, but she was there. She began looking around aimlessly.

The jewelry was lovely. Livia tried to imagine herself in some of the items, but it was very hard to do so. For a plain girl like her, those things would be a hard thing to look good in. But still, despite all these admonitions that her brain gave her, she kept looking.

Mercy picked up Lyonel putting him on her hip, his head laid on her shoulder his eyes closing, "I'm just going to put him down for nap, look around don't steal anything, not like you can or anything, I got enough anti-theft spells in here till I die and the next person takes over."

Nodding to the girl she walked into the back, saying over her shoulder, "if you know what your looking for just give me an idea when i come out maybe there is something out there you don't see."
