Title: hey y'all!

Isabella of Danar - August 6, 2005 10:58 PM (GMT)
Just thought I'd introduce myself... I'm Liz, from GA (I apologize in advance for any southern jargon). Let's see - I'm 16 and I love dancing, travelling, and of course, Tamora Pierce!

Coolness. Well, I'm Em, usually bored, and a roleplaying addict.. :D I'm not a huge Tammy fan, but Tortall is just a great place to RP! I have about four charas running around various places of the Realm, as do most of us - but I'm sure you figured some of us were like that!

Anyway - so glad to have a new player!

Katherine of Blackwater - August 7, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
Hey! I'm Katherine, it's been awhile since we acutally had a new player join. I also play a whole bunch of characters here. And I would have to agree with Emmi. Tortall is just a great place to RP.

Welcome!

Sam Munroe - August 7, 2005 03:42 AM (GMT)
I'm Kit. I'm a character mod with far to much time on her hands, which transmute to hanging around boards for lack of anything better to do before becoming an incurable RP addict.

Antony of Torhelm - August 7, 2005 03:49 AM (GMT)
I'm Erin. Umm, I only have two characters right now but I'd like to make more at some point, not sure who they're going to be. I'm from Canada and have a large vocabulary I refuse to type out. So forgive any repetitive words. Yeah, a friend of mine got me addicted to Rp-ing. I killed him about two weeks after joining this board. I'm going to have such trouble with this when school comes around. Yeah there are people who RP regularly and we all pretty much know each other. I'm leavig for two weeks though, but when I come back I'll be your official topic stalker. Yeah, that's it from me, the amazing the incredible, the random Erin. *bows to cheering audience*

Eleanor of King's Reach - August 7, 2005 04:01 AM (GMT)
Well, at least school is somewhat difficult for you! I find it a complete waste of time...

Anyway, in honor of our new member, we should create a thread which she can easily join... Ideas?

Antony of Torhelm - August 7, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
Umm, Azarian and Thomas and Bella can go down to the Dove and the troupe can go and be interested them like their zoo animals. hehe. FUN! Schools nowhere near difficult, it's just there's so much more to do with people who live within a 30 mile radius of me. And it's not really a waste. I'm lucky, our school has awesome teachers so it's actually interesting, and informative. As opposed to mindnumbingly dull.

Eleanor of King's Reach - August 7, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
Ooh... painful reminder.

Well, unfortunately, Thomas has no excuse whatsoever to go down to the Dove, being a trainee and all. I assume you speak of my Thomas of course (I don't think there are any others)

She could become injured, which is horribly cliche, or just bump into us in the hall...

Liz?

Antony of Torhelm - August 7, 2005 04:23 AM (GMT)
Sorry I was confused for a moment. I mean Ashley.

Isabella of Danar - August 7, 2005 02:24 PM (GMT)
Wow okay sorry I sleep at night (do you all live on the west coast or are these clocks just on some weird time zone?) - I'm kinda new to this so I don't which way would work best... I'll just follow y'all's lead for now. I guess it would be most natural for her to bump into people in the hall - maybe literally bump into since she's usually reading. Or someone could find out there's a new girl and they could all invite her out (to the Dove I guess). Whatever sounds best to y'all!

Sam Munroe - August 7, 2005 04:04 PM (GMT)
I don't sleep, and the forum clock is set to standard time-Greenwich time zone.

Eleanor of King's Reach - August 7, 2005 04:09 PM (GMT)
I think most of us would be on eastern time - except, unlike you, we don't sleep... not much.. :)

You know, there really is no excuse for a nice noble girl to be hanging around the Dove. I hate to be such a bump on the log, but - come on!

Belle reminds me of a lot of Katherine. Just an observation.

You know, they could meet up, in the library or something. And get into a heated debate on the plays of Jono Starsmore, of which they are both avid readers. Which would then give them both an excuse to go to the Dove. Hah.

We don't have any categories for hallways... Inconvenient...

Sam Munroe - August 7, 2005 04:15 PM (GMT)
Really people sleep at night? I thought that was some sort of incurable diesase.

There's always the library.

And then they could down to the dove and bother Jono.

Eleanor of King's Reach - August 7, 2005 04:19 PM (GMT)
Did we just post at the same time? Lol.

Sam Munroe - August 7, 2005 04:24 PM (GMT)
Probably.

Ashley Calhoun - August 8, 2005 01:53 AM (GMT)
You do know that Ashley would more or less have a hernia if you made him do that , well if you made him go with Azarian.

Eleanor of King's Reach - August 8, 2005 02:05 AM (GMT)
Perhaps there should be a University hangout... A particular place where everyone can meet.

I guess that's what the midsummer's ball is all about!

Ashley Calhoun - August 8, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
There is one.

There's the commonroom.
