Antony was getting bored up at the palace, he had just finished a meal, he wasn't curious about anything so he didn't want to take the time to find a book. All the noblewomen could say to him was an endless stream of mindless chatter, and the noblemen who weren't doing anything weren't much better. He wasn't hurt so he couldn't go up to the infirmary and tease anyone, none of his sisters was around to annoy. No suitors to chastize, no... Well the list could go on and on, but in the end Antony had decided to come out the the practice grounds to destroy a few dummies, or fight anyone who would take him on. Being bored and just having eaten meant Antony had alot of energy that could turn into power in his blows, not to mention accuracy.

Kataru had already been out in the practice grounds when she saw a man walk in. She was in her Yamani training attire, and was practicing her glaive pattern dances. Once she finished she stopped and looked at the man, as she grabbed a drink out of her waterskin.

Antony noticed the Yamani woman watching him but he didn't say anything. If she was up for a fight with that glaive of her's she'd aproach, and until then he was going to hit something. He set a straw dummy up and started attacking it with a series of rapid hard blows.

Kataru walked over closer to get a better view. "You know, the straw dummy is never going to hit back, no matter how hard you hit." she said joking with him. "If you want we could have a match, that is if you don't mind me fighting with my glaive?"

"Oh, I'm Kataru Minamoto. Commander of the Yamani Warriors, a former High Priestess in the Emperor's Temple, and right now the young Princess's bodyguard." She said smiling as she offered her hand.

Letting his wrist drop and switching the axe o his left hand, Antony bowed to Kataru and smothered her hand in his own.

"Antony of Torhelm at your service. Very few people in this palace do not know who you are milady. I would welcome a good fight immensly. And yes sadly the palace mages do not have enough time to animate these things." he said trying not to dance at the prospect of some good clean fun.

Kataru smiled. "Nice to meet you Antony. And I think I have to agree with you. Very few people don't know who I am."

She walked back over to the fence to grab her glaive. As she walked back over to Antony she spun her glaive, making sure that she was warmed up enough. She stopped as she came close to him. "Ready?" She asked taking a stance. "I have to say though, I havn't fought anybody with this since I was back in the Islands, so don't go to hard on me." She said teasing the knight.

Antony hoisted up the dummy and carried it over to the edge of the field.

Returning and placing himself in ready stance he grinned.

"No harder than is necessary to beat you, Kataru Minamoto" he quipped.

Although he joked he knew anyone who was trusted with the well being of the princess would be a tough job to pound
