Player Information:
Name: Laura
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Roleplaying Experience: 4 years
Name: Lorelle Brown
Age: 15, almost 16
Birthplace: Lorelle was born and raised in Corus
Position: Commoner Rider trainee
History: Lorelle was born to a merchant and his wife in Corus. Her father was reasonably successful, so she enjoyed a childhood free of starvation and poverty. Her mother taught her how to read and write, along with basic mathematics. When she was six, her mother gave birth to a boy, who was named Timothy. Tim and Lorelle fought a great deal, but she was still very protective of him. Many of the fights she got into were to defend him. She had always liked horses, so when she was old enough, she became a rider trainee.
((Sorry it’s not much, but she didn’t have a very eventful life.))
Personality: Lorelle is a very complicated person. This is in part caused by her excessive moodiness. She has very dramatic mood swings, and can seem like many entirely different people from day to day. One day, she’ll be cheerful and filled with the greatest love of life, the next, she’ll be a depressed, self-pitying mess.
However, despite her constantly changing feelings towards her life and self, her feelings about other people rarely sway. She is very loyal, and once you become her friend she’ll stick with you forever. However, it can be difficult to achieve friendship, as she is very shy when around new people, and will often act gruff to hide this shyness. She also has a cutting tongue, coupled with a sarcastic and occasionally off color sense of humor.
Lorelle is reasonably fit and intelligent, and enjoys a good challenge, either mental or physical. She can be very brave and a good leader, but only when necessary. She isn’t always opposed to the norm, but if she disagrees with it, she will go against it, and won’t care what anyone else thinks. However, despite these positive traits, she has almost no self-confidence, which is probably her worst weakness and flaw. Other weaknesses include her occasional clumsiness and her slight fear or heights.
Physical Appearance: Lorelle is short and stocky. She weighs about 130 lbs and is 5’1.5” tall. The half an inch is very important to her, and if anyone leaves it off, she is quick to correct them. She has long dark brown hair that falls in waves to her waist when she leaves it down, but it is almost tied back in a braid or horse-tail. She is trying to grow out her bangs, and they currently hang as low as her chin. She tries to keep them tucked behind her ears, but they never stay and often hang in her yes or get in her mouth, much to her displeasure.
She is reasonably tan, with a splattering of freckles across her nose and cheekbones. She also has moderate outbreaks of acne, which she hates. Both her mother and father have told her that bad skin runs in the family and that it’s completely natural, but it doesn’t change the way she feels about the outbreaks. She has a small, round nose, and large blue eyes framed by long black eyelashes. Her eyebrows are dark brown, and somewhat bushy.
Lorelle usually wears boys clothes, consisting of a loose shirt and trousers which hide what little figure she possesses, a belt, and calf-skin boots. She usually has a small knife sheathed on her belt, not for fighting purposes, but for everyday tasks that might require a sharp edge.
Sample Post:
Lorelle bounded noisily down the steps of her small home in the city, making no effort to be quiet. Her mother looked up from the dough she was kneading, a slight smile on her face. “Finally decided to join us this morning, dear?” she joked gently. The girl’s tendency to sleep in was a never-ending source of ribbing in the family, and not entirely welcome if the scowl on the recipient’s face was any proof. Timothy gave a snort of laughter from his seat at the small table, earning himself a cuff on the side of his head. “Don’t hit your brother,” her father reprimanded. “You’re going to have to learn to get up early if you’re going to join the Riders.” The girl growled softly, but knew he was right.
